Ebay 88 Warm Colour Palette

The only palettes I own are those from the MUA collection, mostly because I'm more of a lipstick addict (56 and counting!) However after falling in love with all of  the MUA palettes and coming across this particular one whilst browsing Ebay one night, I finally caved in and ordered it, and I can honestly say I wish I'd bought it sooner! I'd seen it a few months back but kept being put off buying it mostly because of how cheap it was and prefer to have a look at cosmetic items in person before committing to buying them. This cost me around £8.00 which included delivery and it turned up only two days after ordering, have to say I was pretty impressed! It came wrapped in mountains of bubble wrapped so nothing was damaged and a plastic sheet to stop any small amounts of fall out during shipment. You get 88 different shades of warm and neutral eye shadows, each of which are approximately around the size of a 1 pence piece. All of the shadows are either a matte or shimmer colour and for the price the pigmentation of them all are fantastic! It comes with a small mirror attatched and two small double sponge applicators. The only thing I'm not too keen on is the packaging itself, just a plain black plastic which is forever covered in fingerprints no matter how clean your hands are, but for the price I've payed I can't really complain!

Just a couple of photos of some of the looks this palette can give!

Overall, for the price I think this palette is an absolute must have! I now use this palette most days and because of how neutral the colours are I can mix, match and blend them together until my hearts content. The matte shades are brilliant for a natural day time look whilst the shimmer shades are great for blending to create a gorgeous look for nights out and even better with all the Chirstmas parties everyone will no doubt going to, who doesn't like a shimmery eye and bright red lip through the party season?! I would recommend this palette to everyone, however if you're used to using high end cosmetic products such as MAC, Bobbi Brown and Nars you may be slightly disappointed in the texture and pigmentation, but for the price you're paying I think everyone should have on in their make up collection!

Have you got this palette? What do you think?

Nail of the day!

Hello, its been a while! I'm finally getting back into the world of blogging and I'm so excited! Thought I'd make my first post a nail of the day. I recently picked up a few nail polishes from the Accessorize cosmetics range whilst shopping in Superdrug a while ago and fell in love. This is particular polish is called 'Lolite' and I would say its a gunmetal grey metallic shade. I've worn it several times now and love that you need only one coat to get maximum full coverage with no streaks, and it drys so quickly! You literally need to sweep it over your nails, leave it for less than a minute until its dry and you're ready to go, perfect for a night out or for a quick pop of colour that doesn't look out of place during winter. Another thing I found with this particular range of nail polishes is that it has great staying power, I don't even need to use a top coat with these and find that are pretty good at being chip resistant. This polish retails for around £2.95 and are currently on offer in Superdrug on 3 for the price of 2 along the whole range of Accessorize cosmetics line, get stocked up girls!

Premier Model Skin Cleanser Review

Hello! Thought I would do a quick review on a new cleanser I've been using recently and cannot get enough of, it actually is amazing! If you follow my blog regularly you will know that I am obsessed with Superdrugs' Vitamin E skincare range, especially their Hot Cloth Cleanser. Well scrap that because this has now taken over my life and I am in loveeeee! I came across this in TK Maxx for only £4.99, which I thought was amazing considoring it retails at £20.95. Since I have pretty bad blemish and acne prone skin, I'm often dead weary about what products I use but this has made such an improvement in just under one months useage that I if I can't find it again in TK Maxx I will quite happily spend the full amount to get it again!

'A luxurious cream that gently and effectively cleanses the skin, Premier Model Skin Cleanser And Eye Makeup Remover thoroughly removes make-up without damaging the skin’s protective barrier.
Formulated with evening primrose and rosehip oils, rich in omega-3 and 6 essential fatty acids and using shea butter, Premier Model Skin Cleanser And Eye Makeup Remover prevents skin dryness and maintains elasticity whilst soothing and softening. Also relying on vitamin A, renowned for its anti-ageing benefits to encourage smooth, soft skin, vitamin B5 to help promote moisture balance, and vitamin E for its powerful antioxidant action, this incredibly powerful cleanser will ensure your skin is clean, soft, rejuvenated and renewed.'

I've already seen such an improvement in my skins appearence in such little time it seems unreal! I've been using it both morning and night, and you only need a 20 pence size amount of product to remove all make up completly, including waterproof mascara. The texture itself  is creamy, thich and rich which leaves skin feeling beautifully clean and soft once removed with a damp cloth or cotton pad. When it came to using makeup I would usually have to slap on two or three layers of foundation (disgusting I know!) before I would even leave the house due to being so self concious about my skin, but since using this product I've been able to use just one application of Garnier's BB cream which is so far from what I used to be like when it came to trying to hide my blemishes! I've also found that parts of my face where I'm conscious about lines beginning to appear as I'm going on 24 have also reduced, or at least it looks as though they have which makes me more than happy.

I honeslty can't explain how much I love this cleanser and can't wait to try more products from their range, and if you haven't tried it and suffer from bad skin I really recommend giving this a go.

Its been a while!

It might be more than a bit late but Happy New Year everyone! I haven't made a post in weeks now.. boooo! IHowever I'm finally back and getting right into blogging all things fashion and beauty (along with general chit chat of course!) So before I upload my first post of 2012 I thought I would give you a quick update on what I've been doing and what I've got planned for the next few months.

001. I had been so busy working 9 hour days at work 6 times a week for almost all of Decemeber I was just too tired and had no motivation to do anything other than sleep when I had the time off. And as much as I love Christmas I've dreaded working it, nothing worse than feeling dead on your feet for months with very little time off! I've also been loaded with cold, seems it was just one thing after another.

002. I've rejoined Slimming World again after putting it off for so long. Over the last few months I have been eating like a pig and it comes as no surprise that I had put on weight! And as soon as my only pair of jeans were getting too tight to zip up I knew I had to do something. I've done the plan in the past and lost just over a stone, however put it back on after breaking up from a long term relationship. I could say it was comfort eating but it was more out of being lazy and throwing anything quick and frozenin the oven as well as eating late at night. I've been back on plan for 2 weeks now and I've already lost 5lb! I've also been running 3 miles 6 times a week as well as resistance training so I can tone up my wobbly bits (pretty much everywhere!) Its going to be a long process as I want to lost between 2 and 3 stone but I know the end results will be worth it, and I'll be doing weekly updates with my progress on here too.

003. I'm finally back into learning to drive again. I've had my theory over a year now so I must pass within the next 12 months of I'm going to have to redo it again! I can drive I'm just awful at doing anything that involves a 3 point turn (turn in the road whatever blahblah!) or paralel parking, sooner I get my head round it I will put in for my test. Hoping to pass before my birthday in March so I can get saving and treat myself to a car!

004. I'm thinking of doing a blog sale. I have 6 bin bags of clothes, shoes and bags to get rid of as well as a large amount of nail varnish and make up! I usually put items on ebay but thought other bloggers who are interested in fashion and beauty may want to have a look and if there is anything you like just send me an email or message me direct on twitter. What do you think?

I have a new blog post coming later tonight but for now I will leave you with my update of why I haven't posted anything in so long. I hope you all have a fab weekend!

Wanted them, needed them, got them!

Incase you didn't already know I'm absolutely obessed with heels and these pair of beauties finally arrived earlier this week after what felt like waiting forever! They are meant to be based on the Balenciaga Boots which Mary Kate Olsen was seen wearing  in Autumn 2006 which cost something ridiculous like $1,795.00! (I dont know what this is in UK terms but I know its well out of my price range ha!) However I managed to track these replica ones down on ebay from a seller in China for only £31.00 including delivery which I thought was an absolute bargain and couldn't resist getting them. These ones did take a little longer than my Lita ones too arrive but it was still only around two weeks, which does feel like forever when you really want them, but I still think they were worth the wait. The qaulity is amazing for the price of them and they are definatly going to be one of my staple winter boots and no doubt I will continue to wear them right through to next year. One thing I'm always weary of when buying heels is the grip and these boots have a fantastic one so there is no chance of slipping and sliding when the winter weather starts to get cold and wet or that little bit frosty. I would also say that the size guide is true to that of UK sizes and I ordered mine in a 6 which fit perfectly. I'm so pleased that I found these after spending what felt like forever browsing for a gorgeous winter heeled boot and I can't wait to wear them to death. I think they're going to look amazing with some super skinny jeans and oversized knitwear. If anyone would like to know the seller I got them from I'm more than happy to let you know, just drop me a comment or here or twitter and I will link you to the seller. I hope you like these as much as I do, what do you think?
